## Distinguish object connections from billing and service labels

## Summary

In HubSpot, associations connect objects such as companies, locations, and contacts. Association labels describe a special characteristic of those connections, using the same terms as Service Bridge. For company-to-location relationships, the two labels are billing and default service.

## Step-by-step

1. Use Boston Properties and its five locations as the example diagram.
2. Identify each connection between the company and a location as an association.
3. Distinguish the connection itself from its label: the label describes a special characteristic of the relationship.
4. Recognize the billing label on the connection between the company and its Nexus billing location, where invoicing goes through.
5. Apply the default service label to one company-to-location relationship, as required by Service Bridge.
6. Treat default service as a service-location designation, not as an indication of any additional special meaning.
7. Remember that contact relationships have additional labels beyond the two used for locations.
