HS Properties for Customers, Locations, Contacts
Find and Edit HubSpot Properties Across Records
Summary
HubSpot properties serve the same purpose as custom fields in Service Bridge: they record information about customers, locations, and contacts. This guide shows where to find those properties and how to update them, including automatic saves on location fields and phone number formatting for contacts.
Step-by-step
- Open a location record in HubSpot to view its properties on the left, including the address, location notes, and Service Bridge link.
- Review the site access properties, and look in the middle section for job contacts rather than at the top of the site access fields.
- Click Scheduling Notes to jump directly to that section.
- Click a location field to edit it, and select the desired option if it is a dropdown.
- Check for the green confirmation box after changing a dropdown, and use Undo if the change was accidental.
- Press Tab or click elsewhere on the screen after typing in a location field to save the change automatically.
- Open a company record to view the properties associated with that customer.
- Open a contact associated with the company, and review the contact information on the left.
- Click a contact field to edit it, then click Save; use the pop-out when editing phone numbers to apply specific phone number formatting.
